All I want for Christmas........

are some styrofoam peanuts and a box.

Laina's gift from Santa--although she prefered to think a bear gave it to her. I don't think she liked the idea of a strange man in a red suit coming into the house.

Christmas morning tea party.

A big activity basket that Bridget made for Laina including educational activities such as muffin tin math!

Sarah, Bridget and I scored these great bracelets for Christmas from Laina!
Grandpa and Laina hiding from a "mean plant" under the dining room table Christmas morning. They also had to hide from a storm and a mean santa!

Oh the Weather Outside is Frightful!

I like to lie back and relax while my grandma pulls me around on my sled.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Ummmm! I love eating icicles.

Laina's new toddler "squall" mittens from Land's End are great. Snow doesn't get in between your mittens and coat sleeve.

Banana Phone

Laina talked to Sarah and Bridget on her banana phone before eating it.

Snow Angel

Despite the cold weather Laina played outside for an hour on Saturday.
Filling the bird feeder.

Too cold for Elsa.

This is what Laina and I call a "twist up".

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

UMMMM! Sparkling Pear Cider.

Wishful Thinking.

Aunt Sarah's homemade Christmas ornaments made out of applesauce, glue and cinnamon.

Weekend in Des Moines

Mom, this is what I did with grandma and Aunt Sarah and Aunt Bridget in Des Moines. They took good care of me while you were sick and had to stay in the hotel the whole time. I was a very good girl (mostly)! I had such a good time I talked for an hour and 20 minutes straight on the way home. Did you sleep through all my talking? Hope you feel better.

Love, Laina

Playing at the play area.

Having fun in the pool.
I didn't think I would like the sun dried tomatoe dipping sauce for bread but Bridget said I might and I did!

Cannolli for dessert.

Ravioli for dinner.

Bridget and Laina reading about what snowmen do at night.

Laina borrowed Sarah's glasses to read Gourmet magazine.

A little toast.
