Pass the Butter Please

Barry decided to try his hand at making butter so the first thing we needed to do was seek out a nearby farmer that sold pasteurized cream. Some folks don't have phones so it took us awhile to ask around and find someone. The people at the above farm sent us down the road to their relatives who have plenty of pasteurized cream for sale. $14 later we were on the way home with a little over a gallon of cream.

 

 

 

It didn't take long for the cream to start turning to butter in Barry's ebay purchased electric butter churn.

 He got about 6 tubs of delicious fresh butter.
