Dad's Favorite Chocolate Pudding

Sarah made this for dad last summer and he loved it. I had a craving for it Saturday afternoon so I whipped up a batch. The nice thing is you ususally have all the ingredients on hand and it only takes a few minutes to make. And it's delicious.

Whisk in sauce pan:

1/2 cup sugar

3 T cocoa

1/4 cup cornstarch

1/8 t salt

Turn heat to medium and whisk 2 3/4 cup milk in slowly.

Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Remove from heat.

stir in 1 T butter

1 t vanilla

Chill

Lost and Found Hound

We found this hound running around by the highway and stopped to see if she was lost. Barry opened the truck door and she jumped in and landed in my lap and was generous with her slobbery kisses. After trying to reach the phone numbers that were on her collar with no success Barry just drove around town and asked around if anyone knew where she belonged. Others joined in the hunt for her parents and we soon had her reunited with her family.

Frozen Herbs

I have an over abundance of rosemary, basil and oregano and read on Pinterest that you could freeze them in melted butter or olive oil.

So that's what I did.

Ready to pop in the freezer for future use...............maybe in January. I froze some in olive oil and some in melted butter. I think it might be good melted and mixed in with rice!
