When I picked Laina up on Saturday to spend the night Terri was getting ready for a bachelorette party that evening. Everyone was supposed to wear a wig. Terri said that Hudson is terrified of the wig and won't even walk past it if it is hanging on the door knob. The wig looks kind of like a stylish skunk!

 The play kitchen I bought at a garage sale was a big hit. It came with lots of food and dishes and pots and pans.

 I also snagged this shopping cart and scanner.

Teacher Appreciation Week

I was going to order cookies for Bridget and her fellow teachers a few weeks ago when Terri offered to bake homemade cookies for them. Not one kind----but two! Here is Bridget leaving for work on a Friday morning-----cookies in tow.

New Table: right size, right finish, great quality.

 We are so boring that a new table is a big deal to us!

 I couldn't find the exact size, qaulity and finish I wanted so had a man in Kalona make one for me.

It replaces a table that we had for 17 years!

Along with her broccoli and blueberries Malin got to have her first taste of Macaroni and Cheese at my house Saturday night with Laina and Hudson. And.............................she loved it!

Ice Ice Baby

 Dance Recital Weekend for Laina. They did some pretty hard moves in her hip hop class to Ice Ice Baby. If you are as old as I am do not look up the lyrics to this song? and try to understand it.

 After the recital she wanted to get her picture taken with these cows!?! No idea what the cows were doing at the mall.

Kindle on her Wish List?

Laina tried out my Kindle the other night reading a Berenstein Bears book. After she read the book she said Grandma can I have that? (meaning the Kindle). Answer. No, I just got it for my birthday silly!
